How to Apply

The applications cycle for the 2024 academic year is now open!

Application process:

To access the UWC Online Application Portal, please visit: http://apply.uwc.org.

After creating an account on "apply.uwc.org",  you will need to fill out your eligibility profile. To apply through the Syrian National Committee, you will need to choose "UWC National Committee" from the two routes available to apply to UWC. Once you have filled your "eligibility profile", if you are eligible you will see an application titled "UWC Syria - Application 2023".

Required documents:

In addition to filling out the application form on the Online Application Portal, you will need to upload the following documents:

  1. Transcripts of your marks/grades for the previous two academic years, obtained from your school. Transcripts in Arabic are accepted. Please include a translation into English if the original transcript is not in Arabic (non-sworn translations will be accepted). If you are accepted into UWC, you will be expected to provide sworn translations of your transcripts in a short time.
  2. A recommendation letter from one of your teachers or supervisors (letters from relatives will not be accepted)
  3. Please include a document (if available) from your current school showing your class ranking.

Note: Copy of official identification document (National ID or passport) will be required later on in the process.
